Setting Play Okay limits

With just a few clicks, you can set limits on your Casumo account to ensure your gambling is always within control when you play at our casino. Because everyone budgets a bit differently, we offer several options for setting limits. You can choose just one, or a combination of multiple limits. The choice is up to you, but know that we are available 24/7 to advise and help you get those limits setup.

It’s important to be aware that many other casinos and betting operators have similar limits available to their players. Be sure to look into implementing limits on all of your gaming accounts. If you’re not sure what’s available, just ask.

Logged in time limit

Limit how many hours you can be logged in to your account daily. Once you reach your limit, you will be automatically logged out and any gameplay is paused or completed in the background. It will take 24 hours to be able to increase or revoke your limit after the request has been made.

ProTip: Make sure to always log out of your account when you finish your session.

Example: If you set a 4h daily logged in time limit to your account, you’ll be able to play a total of 4h at Casumo per day. This can be done in multiple shorter sessions or only one 4h session. 

Login time block

Set a specific time block covering all days of the week during which you will not be able to log in to your account. The start and end time of this limit will calculate according to the time zone you are in when activating it. It will take 24 hours to be able to shorten or revoke your time-slot after the request has been made.


Example: If you set a login time block between 10PM and 8AM, you’ll not be able to play during these hours at Casumo. Your available hours will then be 8:01AM until 9:59PM

Deposit limit

A deposit limit will limit the amount you can deposit during a certain period of time. Once you have reached this sum you will not be able to make any new deposits until your limit has reset.

Example: If you set a £10 deposit limit and deposit £10 to your account. The limit restricts any further deposits during the specified period.

Spending Budget

A spending budget will limit the amount you can spend during a certain period. You will be able to make deposits up to the amount you have chosen and in addition to this you can deposit an amount equal to any withdrawals made during this period.

Example: If you set a spending budget of €10 and manage to withdraw €20, you can now deposit a total of €30 until your period resets to the original spending budget.

Loss limit

A loss limit will limit the possible amount of net losses you can make based on bets minus wins during a certain period. When you have reached this sum, you will not be able to place any new bets until your limit has reset.

Example: If you set a loss limit of £10, your balance can decrease a maximum of £10 in total. If your balance starts at £30, once it reaches £20, no further bets can be made.

Wager limit

A wager limit will limit the total amount you can bet, or wager, during a certain period. When you have reached this sum, you will not be able to place any new bets until your limit has reset.

Example: If you set a £10 wager limit, you can make ten £1 bets during the specified period.

When setting the above limits, you will choose a monetary value and a period of time. Period options are daily (00:00-23:59), weekly (calendar week) or monthly (calendar month). For example, if you set a weekly limit on Wednesday, the limit will reset at midnight on Monday and then continue to run from Monday to Sunday.

All limits can be adjusted or removed. A decrease in your limits is valid immediately. However, increases or removals of limits require a 24-hour cool-off period before. Following the cool-off period, you will have to confirm the change in your Play Okay settings before the change takes hold. This is to ensure that the change is not related to being caught up in the moment, but that it’s indeed a clear-minded decision.
